Slow-Motion Clean

The slow-motion clean is a simple technique exercise to help the lifter better adjust and feel positions and balance through the clean.

Begin with the feet in the receiving stance because they will remain planted on the floor. Perform a clean at a very slow speed, maintaining continuous tension against the bar.

If needed, the turnover itself can be performed at or closer to full speed.
