so, nearly a year ago i asked here what to do about my really messed up squat position in the snatch, because i kept losing sucessfull attempts to the front when trying to get up.
greg suggested to do partial snatch squats (like a snatch balance to a full squat position, then get up just a little bit - nowhere near 90 degree - go back down to the full squat position again in a controlled manner and then stand).
i did these at least twice a week for over seven months always trying to add some weight; started really low. at first nothing got better at all but now... well, have a lock :):
that's me competing in july 2010: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZJgYOtLQPk
and that's me competing in april 2011: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFhjOhuIOnc
so - thanks greg! your advice was spot on and what's most important to me: it did wonders for my snatch :))!
